Record your first expense
Snap a receipt, type it in chat, or import a spreadsheet — three ways to get data in.
Record your first expense#
There are three ways to get an expense into AgentBook. Use whichever fits the moment.
Snap a receipt#
On the Capture screen (or the mobile app), take a photo of a receipt. The agent reads the vendor, amount, date, and tax with OCR, suggests a category, and asks you to confirm. Blurry photo? It'll tell you what it couldn't read.
Tell the agent#
In chat or Telegram, just say what happened:
log $42 lunch with a client
The agent creates the expense, picks a category, and confirms. Correct it in the same breath — "no, that's Travel" — and it learns for next time.
Import a spreadsheet#
Have history in a CSV? Go to Expenses → Import and upload it. AgentBook maps the columns (date, amount, description, vendor) and auto-categorizes each row. You can review before anything is finalized.
Reviewing and fixing#
Everything the agent is unsure about goes to your review queue — nothing is silently guessed. Changing a category once teaches the agent your preference for that vendor going forward.
